These are a labour of love, but they are worth every minute. Toasted chickpea flour and brown butter wrapped around melted vanilla-flavoured dates, ―what’s not to like? These are my take on that famous fig-based roll we all grew up with. I think dates are easier to find and taste just a little bit sweeter than figs.
