Plain Loaf

This recipe is the basis for all the savoury breads. I have included it so you can add your own variations. Add cheeses and spices to the flour mixture, then put a twist on it by changing the vinegar to some other acidic liquid to activate the leavening agents. You can cut this bread thinly, and it will still hold together, which you will want to do because it is heavy. It toasts well, which also brings out the nutty chickpea flour taste.
